Succulents are one if the most interesting of all plant families.  They come in all sizes and colors and can be used in a variety of ways in the garden.

 

Succulents are usually classified as easy-care plants.  This is because they have low water needs and have often adapted to harsh climates.  All they required is proper light, a good container, and well-drained soil.

 

A few succulents are tender in our winters and will require protection, but their architectural contribution to the garden is well worth the effort.
